Martin Hoover recommended by the Plumbing and Mechanical Association
Martin Hoover, owner of Empire Heating & Air Conditioning has accepted the nomination to serve on a task force to review the matter of Carbon Monoxide Detectors in Schools. As most of you remember, a boiler problem at Finch Elementary in Atlanta produced a carbon monoxide leak that sickened dozens in December 2012. As a result of this incident, Martin was recommended by the Plumbing and Mechanical Association (PMA) appointed by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs to review the matter of Carbon Monoxide Detectors in Schools. The task force will meet to make recommendations to the State Codes Advisory Committee to keep kids safe in schools.
Congratulations Martin and thank you for your willingness to serve on this committee.
